Thermal MaxTM Heat Transfer Systems feature an all-steel oil to air heat exchanger that may be combined with either a 12 or 24 volt electric or hydraulic fan assembly. They are suitable for extreme heavy duty high performance cooling applications found on mobile, industrial, stationary and commercial vehicle applications including trucks, buses and off-road vehicles. By monitoring the safe operating temperature of a fluid such as engine, transmission, diesel fuel, differential hydraulic oil, etc., the Thermal maxTM System can solve the problem of how to increase component life while reducing maintenance costs. (Consult factory for hydraulic fan applications and custom design units.)

A UNIQUE SYSTEM TO CONTROL DIESEL FUEL TEMPERATURE
The patented Thermal MaxTM Summer/Winter Heat Transfer System is designed to control the year-round temperature level of diesel fuel. By monitoring fuel temperature at a preferred level, the Thermal Maxtm System will control pressure, droplet size and density, thereby increasing performance while reducing exhaust emissions. The system contains a remote mounted heat exchanger that is connected by duct work to a vehicle’s cab compartment. As diesel fuel is circulated internally through the heat exchanger, climate controlled air produced by the vehicle’s heating and air conditioning system from inside the cab compartment is drawn by the electric fan system and passed over the heat exchanger. During the winter, warm air from the heater is used to heat the fuel while climate controlled air produced by the air conditioning system is used to cool the fuel during the summer. It is the only patented system that provides superior cooling during the summer since it is not dependent on ambient air. On other types of fluid applications the Thermal Max System will provide the next generation in heat transfer that uses a vehicle's heating and cooling system to maintain the safe operating temperature of a fluid. (NOT SUITABLE FOR GASOLINE, PROPANE, ALCOHOL, AND METHANOL APPLICATIONS)

WHY CHOOSE A THERMAL MAX SYSTEM
Only Electric Fan Engineering can provide both a high performance electric or hydraulic fan assembly with a heavy duty steel heat exchanger. Unlike aluminum coolers, EFE steel heat exchangers can withstand more vibration, operate under higher pressure, are easier to maintain, and can be installed in smaller areas since they are low profile and are not affected by harsh enviroments.
