The THERMAL STAR® MICRO is a compact miniature cooling fan assembly that can provide easy solutions for many heat management problems. Having a small 2 lb. lightweight footprint of 6" x 6" x 2" with a collapsable 18" long discharge hose, it can be used to control body temperature or provide spot cooling on applications that cannot use a traditional fan. Available in 12 or 24 volts.

On personal cooling applications to control body temperature, the outlet hose is placed as close as possible to the person. For example, a race car driver can easily attach the hose to a helmet and benefit from the direct air velocity to keep cool and prevent driver fatigue. It has been proven that the precise direct force of the air will quickly evaporate body moisture and cool better than a conventional axial or radial fan. Typical applications include military, motor sport, medical, welding, sandblasting, painting, etc.
