DYNO-TRON THERMOSTATS are DC-battery operated (12 or 24 volt) bimetal sensors that are suitable to monitor water, oil or air temperature. They can be used on a wide variety of applications including automotive, trucks, and other types of industrial and commercial applications. They quickly respond to temperature change since the bulb portion of the switch is directly immersed into the liquid. As the temperature rises, the normally open switch closes, sending a signal to start an electric or hydraulic fan assembly. As the temperature decreases, the switch opens, sending a signal to stop the fan.
