Most over-the-road trucks can replace the conventional belt-driven fan with a turbine electric fan, provided the engine is under 450 hp and benefits from ram cooling. It should be noted that a successful installation depends on many critical factors, including the condition of the cooling system (engine must not overheat with the conventional fan), gross vehicle weight, alternator capacity and proper radiator core size. The electric fan must monitor water, charge air and air conditioning head pressure.

EASY INSTALLATION
Most kits are fully assembled (Series 6000 and 6500 are semi-assembled) and contain fan blade, motor, steel fan shroud, and may be easily attached to the frame of the radiator by utilizing our unique telescopic mounting hardware.
